How it works

Addressing Mental Health Inequalities

Addressing mental health inequalities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples requires training that is culturally safe, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. First Nations Australians experience disproportionately high rates of psychological distress, yet access to support services remains limited due to systemic barriers and stigma.

Bridging the Gap Through Training

At National Wellbeing Alliance (NWA), we bridge this gap by delivering evidence-based training programs tailored to the needs of First Nations communities. Our facilitators—First Nations leaders with lived experience—provide a safe, supportive space for individuals to build resilience, develop practical skills, and strengthen cultural identity.

Equipping Communities with Essential Skills

We offer a diverse range of training programs designed to equip individuals, workplaces, and communities with the tools to support mental health and wellbeing. Each program is guided by a deep understanding of community needs and a commitment to empowering participants with culturally appropriate strategies.
